Learn, Share and Connect – Through the eyes of our children
Quercus Beechworth invites children living in the 3747 area code, between the ages of 4 and 18, to submit an art piece using the theme Learn, share & connect. This art competition is a chance for children to show our community positive ways they have either learnt, shared or connected during isolation.
What is the theme?
Learn, share and connect. We encourage you to use your imagination and share with us a positive experience that you learnt, shared or a connection you made while in isolation. Write a short description about your artwork.
Some questions to spark your imagination.
Did you enjoy having your parents and siblings home all the time? What was the best part of this?
Did you enjoy a special moment with your parents or siblings? Playing games, going for walks together.
Did you learn a new skill? Dad’s secret pasta recipe.
Did you connect with your grandparents, parents or a sibling?
Any art materials or combination of art materials may be used (eg paint, pencil, pastels, paper collage, photography) but the artwork must be two-dimensional.
It can be any size up to A3 (30cm x 42cm)
