Come and try one of the following activities: Table Tennis – Increase your fitness, co-ordination and concentration in a relaxed friendly environment. Or Tai Chi – This is an ideal activity to improve your balance, core strength and relaxation. 3 pm – Afternoon tea will be provided for both groups at which time a video showing excerpts from the regular BEAT training sessions (Aerobic/Weights/Strength & Balance) which run on Monday and Wednesday mornings.

Dermot Henry is the Head of Sciences at Museums Victoria and co-author of Gemstones of Victoria. Join us at the Burke Museum for his presentation on the significance of gems and minerals in Beechworth and Victoria. Bring a long your own gem or rock specimen for Dermot to look at and discuss.
