The Gentle Art of Listening @ Oregon hall Quercus

3 week workshop commencing Wednesday 4th September 5pm – 6:30pm

As a follow on from the Kerferd Oration there will be a series of workshops which will focus on developing interpersonal communication skills to enhance our capacity to “listen”.

Each workshop builds on what is learnt from the previous workshop.

Session 1: Knowing yourself, knowing others.
Session 2: Putting it together – an exploration of using the skills in conversation.
Session 3: Reflections – an exploration of the learning’s and understanding that have come from “listening”

Community Sharing Feast
Sep 20 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Community Sharing Feast @ Quercus Beechworth

The Community Sharing Feast is finally back after a short break to get the hall restored!

Quercus Beechworth believes sharing a meal helps bring people in our community together. Meals are prepared and served in the spirit of co-operation by community volunteers with people coming together to share a meal and engage in conversation.
The Community Sharing Feast is a way for residents, both young and old or new to the area to meet up with people they know or make new friends. Take the night off from cooking to enjoy a free and nutritious meal open to all the community.

We use produce from the community food garden and donated food from the Albury/Wodonga Regional FoodShare for the feast. Community Sharing Feast is an alcohol free event.

Bookings are essential so make sure you book early to avoid missing out. Dates are available on our Online Calendar, at the Quercus Community Bookshop.
