Welcome to
Quercus Beechworth

Quercus Beechworth (formerly Beechworth Neighbourhood Centre) has a long and proud history in the Beechworth community since 1985. Over that time it has grown and developed, connecting those who have participated in classes, generously volunteered their time or attended events. Quercus Beechworth has always been a place where people have come together to share, learn and connect.

Quercus Beechworth is taking advantage of the busiest time of the year at Easter to hold the inaugural Quercus BONA (Beechworth Old and New Art) SALE.

The BONA art sale will be on from Good Friday through until Easter Sunday 10am-4pm daily.

So many Pre-loved and new art at affordable prices.

Quercus holds a Flea market on the first Saturday of the month. Held on the grounds of Quercus Beechworth, its a great place to come and grab a bargain. Interested in holding a stall at our one of our Flea markets? Our rates are very reasonable and its a great way to ‘declutter’ without all the trouble of a garage sale. Give us a call on 5728 2388 to book a site.

Quercus Easter Saturday Flea market 10am-4pm come along for a bargain.

It’s effective communication that makes a community tick, right? That’s our thinking at Quercus Beechworth, and we’re embarking on a consultation program over the next few months so that we can begin to understand how our community talks. We’re starting with a round of Kitchen Table Conversations (KTC’s). Would you like to host one? Read More

Quercus Beechworth is pleased to present Q Pizza. We will be firing up our Pizza oven located in the Quercus garden and selling wood fired pizzas to the public.

Q Pizza will be held on the 1st Saturday of the month.  The next Q Pizza will be held on 6 May.  Pizzas will be available from 11am-2pm, and we will also have a winemaker on site selling wine by the glass or the bottle, to enjoy with your pizza.

Come down and enjoy the relaxed setting of the garden, bring your friends and enjoy a casual lunch.

Profits from this social enterprise go back into supporting our Quercus garden as well as our food programs that help those in need in our community.

The Quercus Beechworth staff and board have been considering all that we do at Quercus and all that we will do in the future. We have prepared a Strategic Plan for 2016-2018 to share our vision, which you can read online.

The Connecting Beechworth project will also guide us, and we would love you to complete the Connecting Beechworth online survey that will assist us in deciding what we will do for our community in the future.
